Did you know you would end up in finance?

No idea really, I started coming in because my dad suffers from seperation anxiety. My positive attitude, active monitoring of the door and food quality testing made me an invaluable member of the office.

What is your best financial tip?

Sometimes I eat things I shouldn't, but I always make sure there's an emergency fund to cover any out of pocket expenses I may incur.

What are the values that drive you?

I believe happiness is contagious, so I like to always spread the love

Did you know you would end up in finance?

Growing up I watched the family manage their businesses and took a keen interest in how they managed finances; indirectly I knew I would gravitate to some form of financial management.

What is your best financial tip?

Keep budgets and regularly check them; many clients earn more money and subsequently suffer from lifestyle creep (more money, more spending).

What are the values that drive you?

1. Work hard; no matter what you chose to do in life do it to the best of your ability.

2. Be kind; try to leave the world in a slightly better place than when you woke up this morning.

Did you know you would end up in finance?

I had an inkling I would gravitate toward finance from a fairly young age. My father invested in property, monitored stock markets and encouraged my brother and I to educate ourselves in value of understanding finance.

What is your best financial tip?

Always, always get an offer in writing! Also, always buy a car your ego can afford!

What are the values that drive you?

Honesty, integrity, and education. Financial literacy is a critical skill

Be sensible with your spending!

I value helping others, whether it's getting someone into their first home or growing their investment portfolio - I like to know I played a part in their success as an individual.

I actually have a Masters of Commerce (Applied Finance), so I knew I would end up in the industry.

What is your best financial tip?

Create different savings accounts (i.e. savings, everyday, emergency etc.) This helps keep you on track and within your budget.

What are the values that drive you?

Hardwork, I make sure everything is done to the best of my ability.

Did you know you would end up in finance?

I had no idea! It's been a great part-time gig whilst I complete my Masters of Law. Once I am a Lawyer I hope to stay working in the finance industry.

What is your best financial tip?

I think the most relevant financial tip I have learnt since working for Chatfield Consulting is the negative effects of buy now pay later. It's great if you need an essential item and strapped for cash, but potentialy dangerous if you start buying things you don't need with it!

What are the values that drive you?

I value honesty, integrity and dedication and these values drive how I operate professionaly. It's nice to work in a like-minded environment at Chatfield Consulting

Did you know you would end up in finance?

I didn’t! Although, I have always had an interest to continually learn about finance as it’s an industry that is forever changing and evolving.

What is your best financial tip?

Strongly consider refinancing with another lender every 2 to 3 years as lenders often offer new client introductory rates, which can financially benefit you.

What are the values that drive you?

Working with a Broker who considers your individual financial needs whilst guiding and explaining lending options to you has made me realize commitment to the process and understanding everyone's differing financial needs are the values that drive me.
