When courier and transport operators use the right techniques, follow safety protocols, and adhere to good loading/unloading practices, they reduce the risk of injury to themselves and others. ✅

❗ Safety Focus: Preventing Injuries During Loading and Unloading ❗

One of the highest risk moments for drivers is not on the road, it is during loading and unloading. Strains, slips and equipment mishandling can easily cause injuries if we do not stay alert.

Quick safety reminders:

🔹 Always check your surroundings before stepping onto or off trailers.

🔹 Use proper lifting techniques by bending your knees, not your back.

🔹 Secure equipment and loads before moving.

🔹 Wear gloves and PPE to protect hands and reduce injury risk.

🔹 Report any damaged straps, winches or gear immediately.

Taking a few extra seconds to follow these steps keeps everyone safe and ensures we all get home injury free.
