Congratulations to Andrew Borden on his appointment as CEO, Travis Atkinson on his appointment as CEO of IA New Zealand, and Josh Hamill on his appointment as Chief Broking Officer.

Hunger is a growing crisis in Queensland, with 1 in 5 households now going without regular meals.

That's why some of our Authorised Reps, led by Steve Carey of Lewis Insurance Services, recently spent time volunteering at Foodbank Queensland before presenting a $25,000 cheque on behalf of the IA Foundation.

Foodbank Queensland is the state's largest hunger relief charity. Every week it supports around 135,000 Queenslanders in crisis and provides breakfast to 52,000 children during the school term.

The Young Broker of the Year Award shines a spotlight on broking leaders in the making, demonstrating that the future of the profession is in strong and capable hands.

The respective state winners for the 2026 Young Broker of the Year Awards will be announced at the 2026 NIBA Gala Lunch Series held over the course of July. The national 2026 Young Broker of the Year will be revealed at the NIBA Gala Dinner and Awards Night held at the Gold Coast on 20 October.
