📣 Calling all local community groups and charities!
Applications close TODAY -Friday 26th June - to be one of the 10 community organisations selected to pitch at Community Pitch 2026.

If your group has a project that needs funding, this is your chance to share it with a room full of local businesses ready to give. Last year, our community distributed over $89,000 between ten local organisations on the night.

The event is on Tuesday 25th August at Magpies Waitara.

Some wonderful news to share from Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women's Shelter 💚

HKWS has secured a new property that will provide transitional housing for women and, for the first time, mothers with their children. It's a huge step forward in addressing an area of real unmet need in our community.

To every one of our customers - thank you. Your support is what enabled Community Bank Lindfield to donate $150,000 towards this cause, helping make the purchase of this new shelter possible.

If you've got strong lending experience, love building relationships, and want to make a real impact in your local community, this could be the role for you. It's a permanent, full-time position based right here in Lindfield.

A lovely message landed in our inbox last week from the Trauma Service team at Royal North Shore Hospital, and we wanted to share it with you.

We're proud to be donating $24,000 to NORTH Foundation for the 12 months from 1st July 2026 to help them keep running their P.A.R.T.Y. Program (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth) which gives young people a real, eye-opening look at the consequences of risky decisions, and the impact on real lives.

It's a program we believe in, and we're so pleased to be able to ensure this year's sessions happen.

Our Chair, Jennifer Anderson OAM, was lucky enough to be invited on an evening tour of the Cath Lab and cardiac operating theatres at The San Hospital recently. Through a glass viewing panel, the group watched an open heart surgery in progress. It ran until 2.30am that night. 💙

The doctors and nurses at The San are something else.

"In the Cath Lab, the team stands for hours doing this life-saving work while wearing lead aprons to protect them from radiation. The older aprons weigh up to 8kg. Newer, lightweight ones weigh closer to 2kg and offer the same protection, with far less strain on the body," Jennifer shared.

We've donated $2,750 to fund one of these lightweight aprons as part of the San Heart Campaign. San Foundation

Sunday 24 May was a good day to be in Lindfield. 💙

Around 2,200 runners came out for the Lindfield Fun Run, and we were proud to be a Gold Sponsor alongside the Ku-ring-gai Rotary Community Network who organised the day. The 10km gave the serious runners and teams something to chase, while the 2km and 5km were full of families enjoying the morning.

Funds raised went to KYDS Youth Counselling (50%), Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women's Shelter (25%) and Mentoring Men (25%).

It was such a pleasure to be part of it. Thanks Rotary, and well done everyone who came along.
