Have you seen the new West Pymble FC FAN ZONE? 🏠⚽

This year we teamed up with WP football club to build them a much needed Fan Zone marquee featuring a whole lot of bean bags, giving players and families somewhere to gather, cheer on their teammates from the sidelines.

Kristyn, Lily and Sharon dropped in to see it in action at a gala day recently, and it did not disappoint. The bean bags were a huge hit with the players, and it was lovely to see the premier team stopping by to cheer on the younger squads.

A big thanks to the team at WPFC for the warm welcome. 💚

Enjoy an afternoon of beautiful music 🎻🎶

The is putting on a free community concert, Nothing is Forever, this Sunday 20th September.

We're proud to have supported this performance through a Community Bank Lindfield Directors Grant, nominated by our Chair Jennifer Anderson OAM. The program features pastoral works for strings and woodwind, with guest director Madeleine Easton at the helm.

Congratulations on 25 years! 🪚🎉

A huge congratulations to the Woodworking Men's Shed, who celebrated their 25th anniversary last Saturday.

What started back in 2001 as a small group of ten woodworkers has grown into a thriving community of around 170 members. Over the past 25 years, the Shed has become so much more. It's a place for friendship, learning, keeping busy, and looking out for one another.

And the wider community feels the benefit too. Members make everything from possum boxes and bird boxes for local wildlife groups, to specialised furniture for hospitals and rehab facilities, to the hundreds of toys donated to children in need each Christmas. That's a lot of good work over a quarter of a century.

Thanks for making such a difference to so many people in our community. Here's to the next 25 years. 💚

Back at The Dish of St John's 💚

Last night, our Community Bank Lindfield team was back in the kitchen at The Dish of St John's, cooking and serving up dinner for around 60 people.

On the menu this time: chilli con carne on jacket potatoes with guacamole, sour cream and grated cheese, followed by Eton mess with berries for dessert. A crowd pleaser, going by the empty plates!

But as always, the food is only part of it. The best bit is spending time with the community, sharing a chat and a few laughs with people who really enjoy the company.

A big thank you to our team who gave up their evening: Julie, Jennifer, Pooja, Ruth, Margaret-Anne, David, Helen, Lily, Sharon and Peter. And of course to Leisa and the team at The Dish of St John's for the important work you do week in, week out.
