ATTN BROKERS - yesterday we had a very unfortunate situation with a lender that resulted in our company losing nearly $2000, and it’s taken 10 years in business for this to happen for the first time.

Over the years many brokers have come to me to workshop ideas, run scenarios and require assistance with submissions and select appropriate lenders, however I never expected or could have prepared for what would happen to my business.

So if you want to learn a very valuable lesson, that I was the Guinea Pig for, reach and I’ll tell you how to avoid this in your business.

🔷🔶CYBERSECURITY IS A MUST🔶🔷

Today I was very close to clicking on what looked like a legitimate email from someone at a bank. Logos, email signature, format…. All the same. But there was one telltale sign that made me reconsider!! There were 2 files, and a hyperlink, to view a sensitive document. This wasn’t normal.

We called the number in the email and when the person answered the phone, the gig was up.

It pays to be safe out there folks, and make sure you’ve got not only adequate cybersecurity measures in place, but also suitable cyber security insurance.

As brokers we are a conduit between large corporations and the individual so we are proud to have shut this down immediately.

For now, all out happy clients and their amazing assets are safe… so here’s a few 😜

Here’s a few of the “Larger” utes we financed in what has turned out to be a record breaking June.

A massive thank you to all our overcompensating, overpaid, company directors (yes this is usually the commentary around these trucks from small minded people) who have worked hard for your prizes.

The truth is, many of our businesses, including Civil, earthworks, marine dealers and mechanics, are required to tow large weights to complete their day to day business activities. So before you raise the pinky or complain they’re parked across 5 spaces towing a horse float or trailer, maybe think…. F**k they must really work hard.

It’s been a pleasure helping all of you this last financial year and we look forward to another cracker in FY27
