Insurance and tax advisory don't sound like innovation topics, until you're the wine business that didn't see the risk coming, or the one that structured for growth early enough to seize it.
We're pleased to confirm the 'Built to Last: Risk, Resilience & the Conditions for Growth' panel for the Wine Industry Impact Summit | 13 August, National Wine Centre, Adelaide.
Chris Matthews (MGA Insurance Group) has spent 30+ years helping wine businesses protect what they've built, from vineyard to export dock. A Qualified Practising Insurance Broker with deep family ties to McLaren Vale, he's one of MGA's leading wine industry specialists.
James Allen (Bentleys Australia New Zealand) is a Partner in Business Services with Chartered Accountant qualifications and a background in agribusiness. Raised on a family farm in rural SA, he supports wine and agribusiness clients through growth, structuring, succession and rural business sustainability strategies, including carbon farming.
Together they'll cover cyber and operational risk, cash flow as the engine of innovation, the R&D tax incentive, export market exposure, and what it takes to structure a wine business for sustainable growth.
For wine businesses and suppliers looking forward, not just getting through.
