"Good Job, Dad!"
When Jen first walked into her father's financial planning practice as a teenager, she wasn’t following a carefully mapped-out career plan. It was because of this sentence. “If you want to go to Schoolies, you can fund it by doing two weeks’ unpaid work experience.”

What Jennifer didn’t realise was that those two weeks would shape the next two decades of her life. Sitting quietly in client meetings and taking handwritten file notes, she began to understand what her father actually did all day.
“I’d always known Dad loved what he did and that his clients loved him, but I’d never really understood why. Sitting in those meetings, everything clicked.”
More than 20 years later, Jennifer is now the third-generation owner of Goldsworthy Private Wealth, having purchased the family business in 2022. The name above the door may remain the same, but Jennifer has built a style of advice that is unmistakably her own.
And to think, it all started with a father, a deal and a teenager determined to get to Schoolies. Not a bad return on investment, Dad.
