The humble bagel shop, reimagined.

For O Bagel South Bank, designer Ishoa Rose Scozzafava of Rose Co. By Design ( .co.bydesign ) approached hospitality through the lens of experience, creating an interior that feels at once playful, pared-back and unmistakably memorable. A restrained palette of warm neutrals establishes a sense of calm, while sculptural curves soften the geometry of the space, drawing visitors through a series of thoughtfully composed moments.

Rather than treating branding as something applied to a completed interior, the project's identity is woven directly into the architecture itself. A continuous ribbon of crimson tile wraps counters, banquettes and thresholds, becoming both wayfinding device and visual signature. The gesture introduces rhythm and contrast, punctuating the softness of the material palette while quietly referencing the energy and immediacy of contemporary café culture.

Natural light plays a central role throughout, casting shifting shadows across textured surfaces and amplifying the simplicity of the design language. Curved seating, tactile finishes and carefully considered proportions lend the compact footprint a sense of generosity, proving that small spaces can deliver a powerful spatial experience when every detail is intentional.

The result is a destination that transcends its function. Part neighbourhood gathering place, part design statement, O Bagel demonstrates how thoughtful hospitality design can elevate the everyday, transforming a quick morning ritual into something considered, atmospheric and enduring.
