Hi everyone, we need your support to raise funds to keep this school FREE OF CHARGE!!

On 6th October, we are challenging ourselves by running a half marathon to raise funds for Cahaya Logos Christian High School in Mentawai, Indonesia, through the Cahaya Logos Organisation. The funds will be used towards day-to-day school operational costs to ensure this school can stay FREE OF CHARGE for the students. This school has been operational since March 2024 and has not charged any school fees to the students. We want to maintain it this way and we need your financial support!

This half marathon is going to be quite a challenge as well for us, considering that three months ago, we weren’t runners at all. Every step and every morning training we take is to focus our mind on our goal — both the finish line and supporting a better future for kids in Mentawai.

We are choosing this cause because we believe that we have to empower and invest in the next generation through educations. Why Cahaya Logos? We personally know the founder of the organisation Jemmy Suhadi who is also a Christian Pastor in Jakarta, and we want to support his concepts where he provides free education for the family in need.

We believe that education is the key to unlocking potential and breaking the cycle of poverty. By helping with this school project, we are investing in the next generation of Mentawai children, giving them the chance to learn, grow, and build a brighter future for themselves and their community. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and education is the basic necessity for them to do so.

By supporting this project, you’re not just helping to build a school — you’re giving them hope and the opportunity for years to come.

100% of the funds raised will be given directly to the school. We need your support. We can't do it alone!

At Derry & Co, we believe in the power of giving back. We are excited to share our commitment in 2023 on this post.
As we approach the end of 2023, I would like to also share some of our company highlights;
1. We contributed more than $23,000 to support various local community projects
2. Derry was named as MFAA Residential Broker of the year.
3. Derry was named finalist in Community Champion and Young Professional award.
4. We helped more than 170 households in getting their first or next property.
5. We signed up with Finance Vault to process documents to further protect our customers' privacy.
6. We expanded our processing team by adding two extra full time staff to help with a faster turn around time and deliver a more streamline experience for our customers.
