📢 RBZ Partners with Ministry of Primary & Secondary Education for Schools Monetary Policy Challenge (SMPC).

We are excited to introduce the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Schools Monetary Policy Challenge (SMPC) through a partnership with Ministry of Primary & Secondary Education (MOPSE). The SMPC is a dynamic competition giving schools the chance to compete for the prestigious title of Child Governor!

This is an opportunity for students to dive into real-world monetary policy issues, sharpen financial knowledge, and showcase their school’s talent on national stage.

To kickstart this exciting program, RBZ this morning hosted an induction workshop for all MOPSE provincial leadership representatives.

As part of the ongoing Global Money Week 2026 celebrations, the Reserve Bank today hosted a high-level CEO roundtable, bringing together key stakeholders from across the financial sector.

Participants explored ways to strengthen financial inclusion. In addition to the roundtable discussions, CEOs toured the exhibition area, where students are actively engaging in financial literacy learning activities.
