ZNBS DONATES BOREHOLE TO LUBEMBA ASSOCIATION OF THE BLIND
As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Zambia National Building Society (ZNBS) proudly donated a borehole fitted with a hand pump to the Lubemba Association of the Blind at Chitila Farm Centre in Mungwi District of Northern Province.

The Chitila Farm Centre, which is home to over 100 families, will now benefit from improved access to clean and safe water a vital resource for daily living, health, and agricultural productivity. This project reflects ZNBS’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities and promoting sustainable development across Zambia.

The handover ceremony was led by Acting Board Chairperson Ms. Laura Sitali, joined by the ZNBS Managing Director and senior executives. Their participation highlighted the Society’s unwavering commitment to inclusive growth and its determination to champion initiatives that bring tangible improvements to the daily lives of citizens.

Through this donation, ZNBS continues to demonstrate that corporate responsibility goes beyond financial services it is about building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.

ZNBS OPENS REFURBISHED AND RELOCATED KASAMA BRANCH.

The Zambia National Building Society (ZNBS) is delighted to announce the official opening of its refurbished and relocated Kasama Branch.

The branch was officially opened by Northern Province Assistant Secretary, Mr. Jordan Mwenya, who represented the Northern Province Permanent Secretary, Ms. Beatrice Undi. The occasion was also graced by His Royal Highness Mwine Lubemba, Paramount Chief Chitimukulu Kanyanta Manga II.

Speaking at the ceremony, ZNBS Acting Board Chairperson, Ms. Laura Sitali, reaffirmed ZNBS’s commitment to bringing modern, efficient and customer-focused banking services closer to the people.

She further emphasised ZNBS’s commitment to making financial services more accessible, convenient and secure for customers across the country, including those in rural and underserved communities.

The opening of the refurbished branch marks another important step in ZNBS’s commitment to enhancing customer experience and expanding access to innovative financial solutions in Northern Province.

The new branch is strategically located at Kasama Square Mall along Mpika Road, offering customers a modern, convenient and easily accessible banking environment. A Zambia National Building Society (ZNBS) delegation paid a courtesy call on His Royal Highness Paramount Chief Chitimukulu Kanyanta Manga II at his palace in Mungwi District.

The delegation was led by Acting Board Chairperson Mrs. Laura Sitali, accompanied by Managing Director Mrs. Mildred Mutesa and senior executives.

Speaking during the courtesy call, Mrs. Sitali expressed appreciation for the long-standing relationship between ZNBS and the Lubemba Royal Establishment, reaffirming the Society’s commitment to supporting cultural preservation and tourism.

She further underscored ZNBS’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with traditional leaders and key stakeholders in advancing financial inclusion, housing empowerment, community development and economic growth across Zambia.
