Our 2025 ESG Performance Overview highlights the continued environmental, social and economic impact generated through Third Way Fund I’s investments in essential infrastructure across South Africa.

Among the key highlights:

🌱 69 renewable energy assets with 5,931.25 MW of installed capacity
👥 5,694 jobs supported across the portfolio
💰 R1.78 billion in ED and SED spend across the renewable energy portfolio
🌍 Approximately 15 million tonnes of CO₂e avoided annually
🏠 854 social housing units financed, including 314 affordable units
📈 R2 billion raised for Fund II

These results reflect the role that infrastructure investment can play in strengthening energy security, expanding economic opportunity, supporting communities and contributing to a more sustainable future.

As Third Way moves into the next phase with Fund II, the focus will build on this foundation by placing greater emphasis on grid-enabled infrastructure, distributed generation, and flexible energy solutions.
