This Easter Weekend, we’re taking a pause to ask a simple and powerful question: What are we actually building?

In a rush of everyday life filled with deadlines, decisions, and to-do lists, it's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture.

But the most enduring things in life, like strong communities, thriving economies, and lasting legacies, are rarely built overnight. They are built through patience, sacrifice, and a willingness to invest in something whose full reward you may not immediately see.

Our Constitution enshrines socio-economic rights: housing, decent work, a healthy environment, and meaningful economic participation. Turning these principles into sustainable outcomes requires long-term capital.

Infrastructure investment plays an important role by aligning pension funds’ long-term liabilities with assets that generate returns while supporting developmental impact.
