As the countdown towards Debswana World Athletics Relays Gaborone 26, a first of its kind to be held on African soil, a privately owned company, 'The Summit Organisation', has planned a hive of activities that will breathe life into the event.

Because this is World Relays season, I had a productive stopover at Capello Letlhakane with Ms Thapelo Ashley Bathusi, one of the ambassadors of the Debswana World Athletics Relays Gaborone 2026.

We discussed Boteti initiatives, the Summit Organization’s 2000 to History, Colloquium, Gala Dinner & Presidential Golf all in preparations for the World Relays 2026 in Gaborone. Our shared vision remains sport, youth empowerment, enterprise development, and positioning Boteti as an active contributor to national progress.

An exciting Boteti Activation is on the horizon for Letlhakane, the proud mining town. Full details will be revealed soon.
