The takeaway because you're too tired to cook. The delivery fee because you don't feel like driving. The extra R30 for something you could have bought on your usual shopping trip.
None of these things is necessarily a problem on its own. But when convenience becomes the default, it can quietly become one of the biggest drains on your budget.
Try choosing one or two days this week to plan ahead instead. Pack lunch, prepare dinner in advance or combine errands into one trip. You don't have to give up convenience completely. Just be intentional about when you're paying extra for it.
