The pull back in rates have held in there to start the week. High sixes and low 7s instead of mid 7s. If the 10 year holds below 5%, it will stay down here. it’s currently at 4.97%..

You found the house you want. There’s just one problem: you haven’t sold the one you’re living in.

That doesn’t necessarily have to stop you from making an offer.

A swing or bridge loan can allow you to use the equity in your current home toward the down payment and closing costs on your next home, potentially eliminating the need to make your offer contingent on selling your current property first.

And a bridge loan isn’t the only strategy. Depending on your financial situation, there may be other ways to access funds and put yourself in a stronger position when it’s time to make an offer.

Where is the housing market headed?
