I just got back last weekend from a Guitar Show in Asheville NC . I so love the Asheville Vibe. I stayed with an amazing guitarist and his Wife Charlie and Caroline Garner. ( best Guitar set up man in the land).
I sold a Daion Head Hunter 555 and came back with a 2019 Gibson Korina 70’s Antique Flying V and an 80’s Cort Flying V both are amazing

Wanted to give a quick update on the new band development. The core is intact with Mickey Dixon on Lead Guitar, Vocals and Keyboards, Scott Superman Felty on Bass and myself on rhythm guitar. Local drummer to come on board next few weeks. We already have over 30 awesome Classic Rock and Blues songs ready with a second set to come.
We should also have a Band Name and Logo being announced soon. In the words of Tom Petty we are working on something Big.

Wanted to give everyone the heads up on what I am up to. I first want to thank the Charlie Barefoot Band for having me as a member for over 2 years. I owe a lot to an awesome guitarist and Song Writer Jerry Quinn.for helping guide me in my journey as a musician. I also want to give a sgout out to Gary Perkins and Linwood Adams co members of the band .
I am now in the process of forming a Classic Rock and Southern Blues Band. In the words of Tom Petty I am working on something big. 75% of the band Line up is intact and we need a local drummer from the Jacksonville, New Bern , Morehead City area to complete.
The first set list of 25 is ready and working on the next set. I will be announcing the name of the band and members as soon as we are set to go. Looking forward to playing out in the area weekly soon.

Happy 4th of July to all my Musician Friends . I was blessed today to be able to play with our band The Charlie Barefoot Band on the 4th today for an awesome Block Party on the Sound in Morehead City NC. Tomorrow we will travel to Angiers NC and play at the Train Starion Museum and Park 6-8 PM
Play anytime you can, whenever you can and as often as you can. You never know when it could be your last. Savor the moment.

I recently went to South Bend Indiana and went to a Great Guitar shop called T.G. Music. I meet a tech and player named Henry and he was very knowledgeable. My First Guitar was a 74 Aria Les Paul. It was a Japanese Lawsuit era Guitar. I really love the early Japanese guitars and I picked up another that is truly exceptional . It is an 83 Aria Pro ll ZZ Custom Explorer. Tremolo bar and original case and keys. I am over the moon today. Henry said it was an amazing player and mint condition amd he was right enjoy the pictures of this beauty

I am excited to let everyone one know Charlie Barefoot is realeasing it’s First Album titled The Begining. We have spent countless hours preparing this and it will be available on our website Charliebarefoot411.com in April as well as our Charlie Barefoot UTube channel. You can also check out our Album Release podcast we did this past weekend at Rascal Roots and Backroads Smoke House BBQ in Trenton NC. It will also be on our sites in the next 7-10 days .
