Some traditions are about more than the event itself. They're about the impact they create year after year.

This September, Wells Insurance is honored to support Black's Tire & Automotive Service annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina.

Since 2002, this tournament has raised more than $2 million to help provide safe homes, education, and vital support services for children and families across North Carolina. It's a remarkable example of what can happen when businesses, customers, and communities come together for a common purpose.

We're especially excited that two of our Account Executives, Tony Pagrabs and Greg Gibson will be leading Wells Insurance teams on the course as we join others from across the Southeast in supporting this incredible mission.

Thank you to Black's Tire Service for continuing this outstanding tradition and to everyone who helps make a difference for children and families in our state. We look forward to a great day of golf for an even greater cause.

Southport clients and friends - the Wells Insurance Southport office will soon be moving next door into an updated office space designed to better support our team and client experience.

Beginning late July, if you need to stop in to our office, you can find us at the building directly next door at:

1424 N Howe Street
Southport, NC 28461

While the office building itself is changing, what’s most important is staying the same:

⭐ The same local team.
📍 The same convenient Southport area.
💚 The same commitment to responsive, personal service.

Parking will remain available in front of the building, and clients may enter through either the front or rear entrance. Handicap-accessible entry is available at the rear of the building.

During the transition, there may be a brief pause in our ability to assist walk-in visitors as we get settled into our new space. We appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming you soon.

This special event helps fund compassionate hospice and palliative care, grief support, dementia services, veteran programs, charity care, and other essential services that make a lasting difference for families throughout our region.

Guests can look forward to an incredible evening at the Brooklyn Arts Center featuring live music from Emerald Empire Band, exceptional food from Middle of the Island Catering , a silent auction, photo booth, and more.

We're honored to support Family Promise of the Lower Cape Fear, an organization dedicated to helping families experiencing homelessness find stability, secure housing, and build a path toward a brighter future.

Through compassionate case management, homelessness prevention programs, and the incredible commitment of hundreds of volunteers, Family Promise keeps families together during some of life's most difficult moments. Last year alone, 98% of the families in their shelter program secured housing, a testament to the impact of their work and the strength of our community.

We're grateful for organizations like Family Promise that are changing lives every day, and we're proud to play a small part in supporting their mission.
