Our 2026 Cinco de Mayo CANstruction contest benefitting was a success! Team 1 stole the show with their astonishingly accurate replica of the Wells Insurance building followed by some clever sculptures of a PB&J, a breakfast skillet, a peace sign, and the largest taco we’ve ever seen (and on Taco Tuesday even!)... All made from cans and dry goods that we then donated to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. All together we were able to donate almost 600 lbs of food (not including the pallet).

We all enjoyed una fiesta buena full of tacos and good times! 🌮

Our very own retired Marine and HR Director Gary Jacobs, along with some of our Wells teammates, attended the Veteran Jamboree Job Fair at UNCW over the weekend.

It was a powerful day connecting with veterans who are navigating one of life’s biggest transitions, moving from military service into civilian careers. From meaningful conversations to hands-on support, our team showed up to listen, engage, and share what makes Wells a place where service-minded people can thrive.

Today, we’re honored to celebrate a truly special milestone...60 years with Wells Insurance for Harold W. Wells III.

As the grandson of our founder and father to our current co-presidents, Harold has been part of the Wells story for generations. His legacy is deeply rooted in who we are and the values we carry forward every day.

While he may only stop by the office from time to time these days, those visits are always meaningful, especially for team members who have had the privilege of working alongside him over the years. There’s a deep respect and appreciation for the role he’s played in shaping Wells Insurance into what it is today.

Harold, thank you for your decades of dedication and lasting impact. Please join us in congratulating him on this incredible 60-year anniversary.

We’re proud to be a donation site for this year’s Movers for Moms® collection! 💙

From April 1 through May 6, our Wells Insurance offices will be collecting essential care items to support families served by Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc..

These donations help provide comfort and support to women and children in our community around Mother’s Day.

🧺 Most-needed items include:
• Toiletries (shampoo, body wash)
• Cleaning supplies
• New clothing (with tags)
• Twin bedding and pillows
• Towels and washcloths
• Prepackaged snacks
• Gift cards

📍 Donations can be dropped off at any Wells Insurance office.
