There's more financial advice out there for young people than ever—and somehow, that's making things harder, not easier. Trends like ""girl math"" and ""no-spend"" months turn budgeting into a game or a punishment, when what most young people actually need is a plan.
I'm sharing an article that gets into why all this noise is landing the way it is—and what actually helps cut through it.

Inflation fatigue is real—and it goes deeper than the price of groceries. It’s the exhaustion that sets in when you’ve been managing rising costs for so long that even thinking about it feels like too much.
This piece from NerdWallet names what so many people are feeling right now, and offers some realistic ways to make things a little easier:

One of my favorite things to do is attend live sporting events, especially boxing.

The fights I have been fortunate enough to attend have given me perspective that carries over into both life and business.

It is everything you see and experience. The energy of the crowd. The media. The athletes who have spent years preparing to perform at the highest level. Watching people compete in front of tens of thousands in the arena and millions more around the world. The business behind it all, from the promotions and television deals to the venues and everyone working behind the scenes.

You are surrounded by passionate fans, casual spectators, business leaders, and people from every walk of life. It is an environment that stays with you long after the final bell.

I try to take it all in. I study the fighters and their preparation. I watch how the event is organized. I pay attention to the details, the atmosphere, and the impact the experience has on everyone there. Every event leaves me motivated to raise my own standards.

Earlier this year Jesse Itzler spoke to our company and shared a piece of advice that stuck with me.

“Get the tickets.”

Whether the event is close to home or across the world, if you have the opportunity to experience something special, do it. The memories, the perspective, and the people you meet are worth far more than the price of admission.

A few events I will never forget are Wilder vs Fury I, Wilder vs Fury II, Canelo vs Saunders, and Crawford vs Madrimov.

There's been several others as well I've gone with my friends over the years like GGG, Ruslan Provadnikov, Vasiliy Lomachenko that have also been incredible experiences.

One of my goals is to attend at least three major boxing events every year, both in the United States and internationally.

Experiences like these have a way of expanding your perspective. I highly recommend investing in them whenever you can.

I am excited to be volunteering alongside my networking group, TEAM Conejo Valley Business Connections, for a great cause.

On Friday, July 17 at 10:00 AM, we are hosting a community fitness event to help raise money and collect food donations for MANNA Conejo Valley Food Bank.

A huge thank you to Nicole Crutcher from MANNA and Arnold Recinos, owner of Elev8 Fitness, for making this event possible.

I am proud to be sponsoring the event as a New York Life Agent while also serving as the boxing coach for the workout while Arnold will be the weight lifting coach. Whether you are brand new to fitness or already active, everyone is welcome. Come get a great workout while supporting an incredible organization that serves families throughout our community.

Every donation goes directly to MANNA Conejo Valley Food Bank. If you are not able to attend, you can still make a donation and help make a difference.

All of the event details are in the flyer below. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I hope to see you there!

You've worked hard to put a solid financial plan in place—savings, retirement, and protection for the people who depend on you. Many financial plans are built around the assumption that your income keeps coming in.

Individual Disability Insurance can help provide a portion of income if a qualifying disability affects your ability to work, so the plan you've built has a chance to stay on track.

If you've never taken a close look at your income protection, or if you're not sure how your workplace coverage may work, explore our white paper, The Cornerstone of Financial Security: Individual Disability Insurance, or connect with an agent to start the conversation.

Life insurance has a reputation for being complicated. There are a lot of options, and thinking through the decisions behind them isn't always comfortable.

But understanding what's out there is a lot easier than most people expect. We put together a really clear breakdown of the main policy types—what they are, how they differ, and what's worth considering depending on where you are in life:
