Thorp & Trainer, Inc. Founded in 1910, we are an independent, Trusted Choice® insurance agency located in Westerly, RI. Thorp & Trainer treats you like a person, not like a policy.

Founded in 1910, we are an independent, Trusted Choice® Insurance Agency, which means we work for you, not an insurance company. We take the time to understand the auto policy, home insurance, or business coverage that is right for you. In the event of a claim, we advocate on your behalf to ensure that you receive fair and prompt payment. Since we represent multiple insurance companies, we provide more choices, better pricing, and greater options for hard to place risks.

Today’s scammers may impersonate banks, government agencies, utility companies, insurance providers, delivery services, or even people you know. They can also manipulate caller ID information to make a call that appears to come from a familiar or legitimate phone number.

Knowing what to watch for can help you protect your personal information and finances. Read our latest blog post to learn more! 👇
