Our Meet the Team series continues with Chris Brose!

Chris is an early bird who enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Hawkeyes, and taking care of her property. In fact, one of her favorite ways to unwind is mowing the lawn and spending time outdoors.

She loves country music, reality TV, and would much rather watch a movie at home than in a theater. When it comes to food, Texas Roadhouse is a favorite, and if there's a Whatchamacallit nearby, even better!

Chris says her husband, children, and granddaughter inspire her every day, and the accomplishment she's most proud of is raising her kids. One piece of advice that has always stuck with her is, "There is always tomorrow."

This year, Chris is focused on learning and growing in her role, and we're excited for you to get to know her better.

I couldn’t be prouder of my son and the Iowa Selects Rugby 7’s team for an incredible weekend at the Mid Summer Classic in Madison, Wisconsin.

The team went 6-0 and brought home the Tier 1 Championship, showcasing the hard work, teamwork, and dedication they’ve put in throughout the season.

It’s been amazing to watch these athletes compete, grow, and support each other on and off the field. Congratulations to the entire team on a well-earned championship!

Iowa Selects Rugby had an incredible summer, finishing undefeated and capturing the Block Party 7’s Championship in the High School Division!

The team went 5-0 at the tournament and finished the summer with three tournament championships back to back to back.

Proud of the hard work, commitment, and teamwork these athletes showed throughout the season. Best of luck to those continuing their rugby journey at the next level, and congratulations to everyone on an unforgettable summer!
