THE BUYER GOT PRE-APPROVED
THE HOUSE SAID, "NOT SO FAST!” 😅🏡

Realtors, you know that conversation.

That’s why FHA’s proposed property changes caught my attention:

🏠 Removing the fixed two-year remaining roof-life requirement.

🔧 Removing routine requirements for appraisers to operate utilities.

🏡 Updating foundation standards and certification rules for manufactured homes.

If finalized, these changes could take a few items off the “one more thing before closing” list.

The catch? They’re still proposals. Current FHA rules apply, and safety and soundness still matter.

Have a listing someone said “won’t go FHA”? I’d be curious to hear why.
