Today we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the beginning of Tyler's carrer with Farmers Union Insurance. Congratulations Tyler and we look forward to the next 20 years!
Here are Tyler's comments reflecting on the occasion:
Today marks 20 years since I first began working for Farmers Union Insurance. I just wanted to take a moment to say "Thank You" to everyone who has placed their trust in me as an agent. Earning and maintaining that trust is my #1 priority. I can't always promise that everything is covered or that premiums will go down. I can promise I will work hard to maintain the level of trust my clients place in me. Without your trust and support, I wouldn't have made it this 20 years.
Time has gone by fast. It's been said that the days are long, but the years fly by. That certainly holds true, especially last year. 2025 was the most trying year in my career by far. However, despite the many long days and drastically increased stress level, it felt good to do what I do for a living. Often times, my job puts me around people going through the most difficult periods in their lives. I wish that nobody ever had to suffer the loss of a home, or vehicle, or loved one again and that I'd be out of a job. However, we all know that won't happen. Being able to offer some comfort in those situations is why I do this.
Even after a trying 2025, 20 years ago still feels like just yesterday. I vividly recall the summer of 2006. It started with graduating college in May, saying goodbye to my Grandpa, beginning my career, getting married, moving to Valley City and buying a home all in 3 months. We have enjoyed making this town our home. Thank you to the Valley City community for being a wonderful place to raise my family and watch them grow.
Thank you to the customer service representatives we have had in our office through the years. Your time and dedication to our office and our clients is appreciated by them and by me. I've leaned you all through the years. You will always hold a special place in my heart.
Thank you to the friends I've made in the industry. Thank you to those that got me into it and supported me in the early years and to those I continue to meet along the way. Having people in your corner who know and understand what you are going through is always appreciated.
Lastly, Thank you to my family for your love and support, for celebrating the good times with me and for holding me up during those that were not so good. I love you all dearly!
Thank you, and here's to the next 20 years!
