No Veteran Should Be Left Behind Because of a Lack of Transportation

Many veterans face challenges that most of us never see—getting to medical appointments, accessing housing resources, attending counseling, finding employment support, or simply reaching the services they need to rebuild their lives.

Our friends at Hero's Shero's Corner of Grand Rapids are making a real difference by providing safe, reliable transportation for veterans who are experiencing homelessness, living with disabilities, or facing other barriers to accessing care and support.

Today, they need our help.

Their two handicap-accessible buses serve as a lifeline for local veterans, but keeping these vehicles on the road requires funding for insurance, fuel, maintenance, and repairs.

Every donation helps:

✅ Receive mental health counseling
✅ Connect with employment opportunities
✅ Maintain independence and dignity

That’s why we’re bringing the community together for the West Michigan Veterans & Family Resource & Empowerment Gathering on June 14th at Hero’s/Shero’s Corner in Kentwood. 🇺🇸

This event is designed to connect veterans and families with valuable information, local organizations, housing resources, VA programs, financial guidance, and supportive community connections.

If you’re a veteran, military family member, or know someone who could benefit, we’d love to see you there.
