Yesterday, we surprised 10 lucky shoppers with $10 in Community Cash as part of the Ames Regional Economic Alliance's Community Cash program. From stops at Moorman Clothiers, Chocolaterie Stam Ames, Cafe Diem- Ames, IA, Dog-Eared Books Ames and ProNails Spa to plans for more shopping at Cornbred, Oak Lane Candle Co., Piece&Freedom Bakery, Homegrown IA and Cooks' Emporium, it was fun to see local dollars supporting local businesses.
