On Friday, August 28, NJFCU hosted “Lemonade for Kids.”

Employees brought their kids to the Totowa branch in order to introduce them to entrepreneurship. They “got a taste” of financial literacy, teamwork, customer service, leadership and community involvement by running a lemonade and snack stand. They had lots of fun as they learned what it takes to operate a small business in a supportive and engaging environment.

Members enjoyed the delicious wares as they transacted business with the children. Lemonade always brings a smile, and there were so many in the lobby that day! Thanks to the kids for showing everyone how much fun it is to have a job that makes others happy!

On August 6, 2025, North Jersey Federal Credit Union and Cooperativa Sagrada Familia of Honduras marked a meaningful milestone with the signing of our Memorandum of Understanding—an alliance grounded in mutual respect, solidarity, financial empowerment, and an enduring commitment to the people and families we serve.
