A day at the races!

Jamie and Carrie had a great time at the 2026 Far Hills Race Meeting! They enjoyed a beautiful fall day and stopped by the Vault Insurance and R. Bruce Hill Agency tents to catch up with some familiar faces and industry friends.

Always nice to get out of the office and spend time with our insurance partners outside of the usual workday!

🔥 Even insurance agencies aren't immune to a little bad luck!

Here's a throwback from the Hanson & Ryan archives that you don't see every day!

On October 30, 1988, Hanson & Ryan experienced a fire at our own building. Yes, an insurance agency having a fire. You really can't make this stuff up! 😂

Thankfully, the fire didn't stop us from doing what we've been doing since 1876: taking care of our clients and keeping the business moving forward.

As we celebrate 150 years of Hanson & Ryan, we love looking back at the moments that shaped our history. Some were milestones worth celebrating. Others were challenges we had to overcome. And apparently, some involved a little more smoke than we'd have liked!

150 years. A lot of history. And a few stories you just can't make up!💙
