If you’re getting a mortgage, it’s very likely that an appraisal will be done on the house that you’re buying. An appraisal role is to ensure that the property is worth the mortgage that you were taking out on it. If you’re getting an FHA mortgage or a VA loan, the appraisal is a bit more in-depth. You also cannot pay more than what the house appraise is for. If you’re using a conventional mortgage, you will have the opportunity to pay more.. if a value comes in lower often, you will have the opportunity to renegotiate purchase price.
