I have been an agent for 6 years and I specialize in personal insurance.

I got into insurance on a whim for a change of pace after teaching for many years, and ended up really enjoying the industry and the important work involved!

One of the most common coverage mistakes I see is clients being underinsured—especially when it comes to liability limits and properly listing all drivers and exposures. 

I wish every client knew that insurance isn’t just about price—it’s about protection. The cheapest policy can often leave critical coverage gaps, so it is important to understand what you are actually covered for before making a decision.

I specialize in personal insurance—home, auto, umbrella—and I’ve been doing it for a few years now working in our family agency.

I got into insurance because of my family, but I’ve stayed because I genuinely love helping people feel taken care of and not overwhelmed by it all. 

I wish every client knew that insurance isn’t just about price, it’s about protection—what actually happens on your worst day and whether you’re truly covered. No one wants added stress or unexpected costs in a moment like that.

One moment that I felt like I was able to make a difference for a client was when I was helping a client through a stressful claim right after she got her driver’s license. It wasn’t overly complex, but it felt big to her which caused a lot of emotions. So walking her through it, advocating for her, and seeing the relief when she realized she wasn’t alone and had someone in her corner who knew how to navigate it was really rewarding.

I first decided to get into the insurance industry to demonstrate my administrative skills in a new setting!

One of the most common coverage mistakes I see clients making in commercial insurance is when businesses choose not to insure business personal property.

One thing I wish every client knew before buying insurance is that the carrier matters, the customer service matters, and the coverage matters. Although price is a component, it’s not the only aspect of an insurance experience.

I think a lot of our clients see insurance experiences as a transaction. There have been a few times where I have changed an insured’s mind. Insurance shouldn’t be an afterthought, it should be something that HELPS you run your business, so it’s really nice to see our clients include us in their business.

Get to know TJ!

I have been an insurance agent for 8 years, and I specialize in Medicare planning and coordination, helping individuals, business owners, HR teams, and advisors navigate how Medicare fits with group coverage, retiree benefits, and long-term planning. I spend a lot of time guiding employees from employer health plans into Medicare the right way, without confusion or costly missteps.

I decided to get into insurance after helping clients as a financial advisor navigate IRMAA and going through my mom’s Medicare journey with her. I saw how confusing and high-stakes these decisions really are. That’s what led me to focus on bringing clarity to something people can’t afford to get wrong.

One of the most common mistakes I see clients make is waiting too long to make a decision, or assuming they can “figure it out later. With Medicare, timing is everything. Missing enrollment windows or choosing the wrong path early can limit your options down the road, sometimes permanently. I see people accidentally lock themselves out of better coverage simply because no one explained the consequences up front.

I wish every client knew that with Medicare, it’s not just what you choose—it’s when you choose it. Timing mistakes can follow you for years.

One moment in my career when I felt like I really made a difference for a client was when I worked with an employee coming off group coverage who assumed their insurance would just “roll into” Medicare. It doesn’t. We mapped out the transition, got the timing right, and made sure there were no gaps in coverage. The biggest win was avoiding a mistake they wouldn’t have realized until it was too late.

Get to know Kathryn!

I have been an insurance agent for 9 years and I specialize in personal and commercial insurance, as well as life insurance.

I initially got into insurance by being born into it. My dad, Stephen Milwicz, is one of the principal owners of Atlantic Insurance Group.

The most common mistake I see is clients trying to navigate coverage on their own. My role is to guide them through insurance decisions, and when we stay in communication, we can avoid exposures and make sure they’re properly protected. 

One thing I wish every client knew before buying insurance is that working with a broker saves you time and money! Let us do the shopping for you!

I feel like I’ve made the biggest difference when I can actually save a client money while also improving their coverage—finding gaps they didn’t know about and fixing them.
