📣 Colorado PERA retirees: Mark November 19 on your calendar!

PERACare’s open enrollment deadline for 2027 coverage is November 19, 2026. Don’t wait until December 7 to make your PERACare selections.

For 2027, Humana is replacing PERACare’s UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans. Current enrollees will automatically move to the corresponding Humana plan unless they choose another option during open enrollment.

Now is a good time to review your doctors, prescriptions, premiums, and coverage details.

Devoted Health offers Medicare Advantage plans with monthly plan premiums as low as $0. Depending on the plan and your eligibility, benefits may include:

Food & Home card: A monthly allowance for eligible healthy foods, housing expenses, and utilities, if you qualify.

Dental coverage: Cleanings, X-rays, and other covered dental services.

Eyewear coverage: Coverage toward glasses and contact lenses.

Over-the-counter allowance: A quarterly allowance for eligible items such as vitamins and pain relievers.

Benefits, allowances, and eligibility requirements vary by plan and service area. You must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium.

When reviewing Medicare Advantage plans for 2027, take a closer look at how those extra benefits actually work.
Ask questions like:
✅ How much dental coverage is provided?
✅ Is there a dental network?
✅ What services are covered?
✅ How often can you get new glasses or contacts?
✅ What are the hearing-aid allowances and copays?
✅ Are there limits, restrictions or prior authorization requirements?
Two plans may both advertise dental, vision and hearing, but the benefits can work very differently.
Don’t just compare whether a benefit is included. Compare how useful it will actually be for you.
