Community happens when people show up for one another.🤝

Through Seeds of Service, our employees recently supported two projects in their local communities. In Lincolnton, NC, team members organized a donation drive for a transitional home serving women and children, collecting pantry items, toiletries, household essentials, and other needed items. In Laurens, SC, volunteers partnered with students to landscape school grounds and build a new picnic table.

While the projects looked different, both were rooted in the same goal: supporting others and helping strengthen our communities. We're grateful to everyone who helped make these efforts possible and encourage others to find ways to get involved where they live.💚

A strong ag economy supports a strong rural America.💪🌾

When farmers and ranchers have the confidence to invest in their businesses, that investment reaches far beyond the farmgate. It supports local businesses, creates jobs and strengthens communities.

That’s why the Farm Bill matters not just to agriculture, but to rural America.

The House of Representatives passed its Farm Bill this spring, and the Senate Agriculture Committee advanced its Farm Bill in September. Both are important steps, but now Congress needs to build upon that momentum and finish the job.

From the producers we serve in GA, NC and SC to the communities that depend on them, there is a clear need for long-term policy certainty.

It’s time for Congress to to support rural communities.🚜🌱
