It’s been a hot one today in both weather and qualifying and again Team Shelton Motorsports completes today’s 2 rounds with some good numbers heading into tomorrow’s eliminations. If you’re able to come after your Sunday morning worship services, stop by the hospitality tent for some food and fellowship. It’s anyone’s race!

Qualifying is complete at the Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.

Mike Stavrinos claimed the No. 1 qualifying position with a 5.774 pass at 250.51 MPH, narrowly edging Sidnei Frigo for the top spot.

One of the biggest stories of qualifying belonged to Travis Harvey , who rebounded from a difficult opening session to race his way into the third position heading into eliminations.

With the field now set, the focus shifts to Sunday and the battle for the Bristol Wally as some of the toughest competitors in NHRA Pro Mod prepare for eliminations in Thunder Valley.

It’s that time again and today is the day!! We’re excited to see all the NHRA action lock in and launch down the track at Thunder Valley Raceway in Bristol, TN. The schedule for today has been moved up due to the forecast of thunderstorms so if you’re not already on your way, what are you waiting for? 😊. As always, come by the Team Shelton Motorsports hospitality tent, sit down, grab a bite to eat, and fellowship with us. We can’t wait to see you today through Sunday!

As our offices close this upcoming Friday, we’re always so thankful to be able to celebrate Resurrection weekend…a time to praise our Savior for giving us the opportunity to have eternal life as He gave His life in place of ours, but rose again to live forever! We encourage all to attend a place of worship this Sunday and remember what Easter is all about.

For the safety of our staff and to allow for more melting of snow covered secondary roads, offices are closed tomorrow. Hopefully the winter weather is soon to end and we will be able to be back on a regular schedule!
