There are seasons in life when you have to wander a little to remember where home is.
Not because you’re lost.
Because some parts of you need the space to become quiet enough to hear themselves again.
So you walk.
You follow the trail beneath your feet, the trees overhead, the light changing through the day. You leave behind the noise of what you should be doing and begin to notice what you’ve been feeling all along.
And somewhere along the way, you realize you’re not just finding your way through the woods.
You’re finding your way back to yourself.
Back to the version of you that laughs a little easier.
Back to the people who feel like exhale.
Back to the stories that shaped you.
Back to the kitchen table, the familiar roads, the arms you can fall into without explaining why.
Back to home.
Maybe that’s the gift of the journey.
It doesn’t always take us somewhere new.
Sometimes it takes us far enough away to see what was beautiful all along.
And when we finally turn toward home, we realize we were carrying pieces of it with us the whole time.
Maybe every trail has been leading us here.
Not to a place.
But to a feeling.
To belonging.
To remembering.
To home. 🩶
