National apartment occupancy held steady at 94.8%, near the long-term average. Detroit led major U.S. markets with a 4.0% annual rent increase, joined by other Midwest cities like Kansas City and Chicago, driven by moderate supply growth.

Looking ahead: Strong wages, resilient jobs, and improved confidence will keep apartment demand solid, even as supply outpaces it. Expect steady rent growth in 2025, with lower-supply markets like the Midwest offering key investment opportunities.

This 267-unit, Class A multifamily development in Greenville, TX (just 55 miles NE of Dallas) represents a major milestone for our team. It’s our first partnership with Covenant Development and the ninth with Platinum Equity Development—a testament to the strong relationships we've built in the industry.

We were particularly drawn to this project for its strategic Public Facility Corporation (PFC) structure and the HUD loan secured by our incredible partners. Now, with the closing behind us, we’re thrilled to officially begin construction!

Adding to the momentum, the City of Greenville has kicked off construction on their $56 million Sports Park Center, located directly adjacent to our site. Scheduled for completion in May 2026, the Sports Park Center will open just as we deliver our first units—perfect timing for an exciting community transformation.

We are grateful to our partners and investors for their unwavering confidence and support. This project wouldn’t be possible without you. Big things are happening in , Texas, and we’re proud to play a part in its growth!

We’re thrilled to share that Spur Equity and Platinum Equity Development have made our entry into hospitality investments with the acquisition of a brand-new Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in the Austin MSA! This marks the beginning of our journey in the hospitality sector, with our next acquisition—another Marriott Hotel—already on the horizon for Q1 2025.
