Oklahoma’s Emergency Drought Committee has approved a new assistance program to provide emergency drought assistance to Oklahoma producers. The application period opens Nov. 12 and runs through Jan. 31, 2025.

Big thank you to Gans Athletic Department for the opportunity to help judge the chili cook-off! I loved seeing the community come together and getting to taste so many unique recipes. Huge shout-out to everyone who participated—you all made this a memorable experience! And congratulations to the winners! Each entry was delicious in its own way, and it was an honor to be a part of the day!

The Agriculture Enhancement and Diversification Program applications are now available for Oklahomans seeking a grant or loan. The deadline for proposals is Jan. 2, 2025.

The AEDP is designed to develop or improve uses for agricultural products, expand Oklahoma’s production of value-added products and to encourage diversified farming.
