Five years ago, the Aneisha LeMonier Agency opened with a leap of faith, a commitment to caring for people, and one client— me.

This week, we gathered with our team and our families to celebrate being voted GOLD in the 2026 Best of the River Valley insurance category. 🏆💛

We are deeply grateful.

Starting from scratch in June 2021 meant long days, late nights, learning, sacrifice, and trusting that each small step would help build something lasting. From the beginning, the goal was to be a promise-keeping agency: answer the phone, listen carefully, explain coverage, follow through, and be reachable when people need us.

Over time, that commitment became a shared purpose. Looking around our table at the banquet, we saw the people who help bring it to life every day—and the loved ones whose support makes that work possible.

To Tabatha, April, Erin, and Chris: thank you for the care you give our clients, the strengths each of you brings, and the way you show up for one another. This honor belongs to you, too.

To our spouses and families: thank you for your patience, encouragement, and support through every season of building this agency. Sharing this evening with you made it especially meaningful.

To our clients: thank you for trusting us with your homes, vehicles, businesses, and the people you love. Every referral, every recommendation, and every opportunity to serve you has helped us grow.

And to everyone who voted for us: thank you for taking the time to recognize our team. Receiving this honor from the community we call home means so much.

PROTECT WHAT MATTERS

October 4–10 is Fire Prevention Week, and this year’s theme focuses on safely charging devices powered by lithium-ion batteries. These batteries are in our phones, laptops, power banks, tools, e-bikes, toys, and many other items we use every day. nfpa.org

A few small habits can help reduce the risk of a serious fire:

• Use the charger supplied or recommended by the manufacturer
• Plug charging devices directly into an outlet rather than an extension cord or overloaded adapter
• Unplug a device if it becomes unusually hot while charging
• Stop using batteries that appear damaged, swollen, leaking, or otherwise abnormal
• Check products and chargers for safety recalls
• Never place lithium-ion batteries in household trash or ordinary recycling bins; follow local disposal guidance instead

The U.S. Fire Administration also recommends looking for products tested by a nationally recognized laboratory and having battery-pack repairs completed only by a certified repair facility. usfa.fema.gov

Insurance may help after a covered loss—but prevention protects the people, photographs, pets, and irreplaceable pieces of home that no claim payment can truly restore.

This week, take five minutes to inspect the devices charging inside your home.

And while you are thinking about fire safety, test your smoke alarms too. The U.S. Fire Administration recommends alarms inside every bedroom, outside each sleeping area, and on every level of the home. usfa.fema.gov

LESSONS FROM THE OWNER’S CHAIR — LESSON NO. 15

You Hire Skills. You Build With Character.

Last week, my team carried two workloads.

They continued serving clients and pursuing our production goals while packing offices, labeling boxes, coordinating movers, troubleshooting technology, and preparing an entirely new space.

But what impressed me most was not that everything got done.

It was how they did it.

No one said, “That’s not my job.”

When someone finished packing their own office, they looked for another place to help. When a problem surfaced, they did not stand beside it waiting for instructions. They stepped in, asked what was needed, and helped move us toward a solution.

That is initiative.

They also recognized when someone else was carrying a heavier load and moved toward that person instead of away from them.

That is empathy.

I watched them treat our moving crew with extraordinary respect. They thanked them, encouraged them, offered help, and showed appreciation for the physical work they were doing on our behalf. They treated the movers as valued partners—not simply people hired to perform a task.

That is character.

And then, something happened that I did not expect.

They thanked me.

They thanked me for the new office, for my leadership, and for believing enough in them—and in the future of this agency—to invest in a larger space for all of us.

The truth is, I was equally grateful for them.

Hiring is about more than finding the right experience, credentials, or technical ability. Those things matter. But growth will eventually place pressure on every job description.

The people who help build something meaningful are the ones who can move through growing pains with grace and tenacity.

They notice what needs to be done.

They care about how others are treated.

They accept responsibility beyond the narrow boundaries of a job description.

And when the work becomes difficult, they do not ask, “Is this mine?”

They ask, “How can I help?”

Skills may get someone through the door.

Character is what allows us to walk through the growing pains together.

THIS is what a team looks like. ❤️

September 18 marked the end of one chapter for the Aneisha LeMonier Agency—and the beginning of an exciting new one.

Moving an entire agency would have been demanding during any week, but this move happened during the close of our folio. While continuing to serve our clients and staying focused on our production goals, this incredible team also boxed up their workspaces, carefully labeled everything, pitched in wherever they were needed, and maintained a fun, positive attitude through it all.

And we didn’t simply make it through the week—we hit every one of our company goals!

I cannot say enough about the diligence, flexibility, and ownership each person demonstrated. No one said, “That isn’t my job.” They simply saw what needed to be done and helped do it. By the end of moving day, they were settling into their new workspaces and genuinely excited to walk into their new “work digs” on Monday morning.

I also have to give special recognition to Tabatha. She coordinated the moving company while working tirelessly behind the scenes to get our internet and phone systems operational.

When both AT&T and Cox left us without the service we had expected, she refused to give up. She worked alongside our Datamax technician (Kevin) until they found a solution and got us connected so we could turn on our computers and be ready to serve our clients.

That kind of persistence matters. That kind of teamwork matters.

I am incredibly proud of this team—not only because of what they accomplished, but because of how they accomplished it: focused, hardworking, helpful, and still finding reasons to laugh along the way.

We closed our folio strong.
We completed the move.
We hit our goals.

And on Monday morning, we begin this next chapter together at 3811 Rogers Ave, Suite A, Fort Smith AR 72903.

New location. Renewed energy. Same promise-keeping team.

(I cannot say enough wonderful things about Move Mart Relocation! They helped us move our entire seven-office insurance agency—including large furniture, office supplies, equipment, and marketing materials—and made what could have been an overwhelming day feel completely seamless.)

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month, a national educational campaign coordinated by Life Happens. Life Happens and LIMRA both emphasize reviewing how life insurance supports a family’s financial security.

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month—but this is not simply a reminder to buy a policy.

It is a reminder to review the promises your current policy is expected to keep.

Consider scheduling a review if you have:

• Changed jobs or are relying primarily on employer-provided coverage
• Purchased a home or taken on significant debt
• Married, divorced, welcomed a child, or become a caregiver
• Started or expanded a business
• Experienced a major change in income
• Not reviewed your beneficiaries recently

Life insurance should reflect the life you have now—not the life you had when the application was completed.

A review does not obligate you to make a change. Sometimes it simply confirms that the plan you already have still fits.
