Class of 2027: Cooper 🎺

I knew Cooper was in the band and into music when his mom reached out to me about his senior session. But as I looked at the patches for the parades his high school band have had the opportunity to perform I was blown away! One of my favorite things to do in senior sessions is highlight my seniors’ accomplishments as passions and help to celebrate the dreams they’ve been chasing during their high school years. If you’re ever curious as to how we can incorporate one, never hesitate to ask- getting creative with it is where the fun really begins!

Class of 2027: Klayton🎓

When we talked about Klayton’s senior session his mom said he definitely wanted to incorporate hunting- we can definitely make that happen!
Next thing you know where at their family’s property, in the side by side, heading out to favorite spots and the rest is history🦌
I always want seniors to showcase who they are and what they are into right now for everyone’s memories and added fun for them!

The Olson Family💕

I was amazed when this family told me they have been coming to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival for over 50 years! They never miss and a few years ago they started doing family pictures while they are here because it’s the one time they are all together. They spend the weekend together festivaling and staying at Turkey Run making memories together- such a great idea!

The Wheeler Family🍂

Every time this family schedules a session I get excited- they are the perfect mix of fun and chaos with so many littles! They always come in with amazing color combos that look great together and they have figured out the cheat code for an extended family session: do it in the morning.
Not super early, don’t get too crazy! But let everyone wake up, eat breakfast, then get photo ready and get it done before the day has a chance to get away from us. It has worker wonderfully and they still have the bulk of the day left!

Class of 2027: Blake 🎓

It feels like just the other day I was doing pics for Blake’s older sister and I can’t believe now it’s his big year! I’m sure it’s a bittersweet weekend with the end of the football season, but I hope he and the other seniors are proud of their time with the team and the leaders they’ve been!

The Veach Family💕

Some of my favorite humans🥹. It literally doesn’t matter what we’re doing, if I’m with the Veach’s it’s gonna be a good time and it has been that way since 1989. I’m so glad we were able to find a window of time in everyone’s busy schedules to capture some memories and have a lot of laughs at John & Debbie’s beautiful new home.

But it did take everything in me to not make the song on this post “La Bamba”- the ones that get it, get it.

The Pettis Family💕

Family sessions aren’t always easy to get on the books. The kids all have schedules full of activities, adults have work schedules, let’s be real- some people don’t want to participate and can be sticks in the mud lol. No, it isn’t always easy…but it is always worth it. Capturing images with our favorite people is always precious and something we won’t regret 💕

A huge thanks to Billie Creek for always allowing creators to use their beautiful property during the hours they are open to the public!
