One of my pet peeves is hearing agents say “we shop it for your lowest price”

In reality most of us shop it ourselves, even when proposed by an Indy agent like me.

Truth is, most agents run a few and send you the lowest cost, leaving you to think you just got one quote and need to check other options.

Four years ago, 360 Insurance Solutions became official.
 
Today we’re celebrating… and we couldn’t do it without every single person seeing this post.
 
In four years we’ve grown tremendously from where we started, and that number doesn’t happen without the clients who trusted us with something that matters, the partners who connect us, and the relationships that turned into something bigger than a transaction.
 
This is just the beginning. Our goal is to make this ten times what it is today - more families protected, more small businesses covered, more people who feel like they actually understand what they have and why it matters.
 
Thank you for being part of the journey - we don’t take that lightly.

Don’t just file the claim.

Here’s the part most people don’t realize: once you call the insurance company, the claim is often already “on record.”
So before we pull that lever, we should slow down for 5 minutes and ask the questions that actually protect you:
• Is this your responsibility to pay for?
• Is it even covered the way you think it is?
• What’s your deductible… and will this payout be worth it?
• Will filing create more headache than help?

My job isn’t to “file claims.” My job is to help you use your insurance for the right reasons and when it’s actually worth it.

2016 called… so I thought I’d join the bandwagon.
 
This photo takes me back to a very different chapter. At the time, we were just two years in, operating as JRIA 360 Insurance Services, and fully focused on homeowners - especially people navigating the home-buying process.
 
Back then, success looked like being fast and efficient. And honestly? We were really good at it. We worked with 30–40 families a month, helped people move quickly, and built relationships with clients we still work with today (you know who you are).
 
But in 2016, insurance was about a moment in time - helping someone get to closing.
 
Today, it’s about the long game.
 
Now, fully independent as 360 Insurance Solutions, our focus has expanded - especially into helping business owners protect what they’re building. We’re still here for homeowners, but our work is far more intentional. More proactive. More strategic. And I’m happy to be out of the bandaid game.
 
The biggest difference?
 
We’re no longer just reacting quickly - we’re planning ahead.
 
The systems, tools, and experience we’ve gained over the last decade allow us to deliver a level of care that simply wasn’t possible back then. Not because we didn’t care, but because the industry (and the technology) hadn’t caught up yet.
 
Also worth saying: Angee, who’s in this photo with me, was a huge part of that early growth. While she’s moved on to new opportunities, she helped lay the groundwork for what this agency would become - thanks, girl!
 
It’s been fun reflecting on how far we’ve come - not just as an agency, but as professionals who’ve grown alongside our clients.
 
Here’s to doing the work better - not just faster.

New chapter, familiar focus.

This will be 360’s new home base — 7th floor in Arlington. We’ve officially signed, picked up the keys, and are excited to build into this next phase.

While Arlington is our primary hub, this office setup gives us access to workspaces across all of VA and DC as needed.

What hasn’t changed is the work itself. We remain focused on providing thoughtful, long-term protection throughout Virginia (and DC soon) — especially in the communities we’ve always served.

Growth is exciting, but it’s rarely fast or simple. Fellow business owners know that expansion done responsibly takes time.

And no matter where we’re working from, we’re still just a phone call away — exactly as we’ve always been.

Same standards. Same priorities. Just a broader footprint. Cheers to fun stuff in 2026!

As the year wraps up, it’s hard not to pause and wonder how fast it all went.

Sometimes you blink — and suddenly another year is behind you.

2025 was one of those years for me.

It was filled with meaningful conversations, real challenges, quiet wins, and above all, continued trust. And that trust is something I never take lightly. 360 wouldn’t be here without the people who choose to work with us and allow us to help protect what they’ve built.

This year brought growth and change — you’ve been along for years as we expand from Hampton Roads to Richmond, and now into Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. But growth isn’t just about geography. It’s about responsibility. And we remain committed to showing up with clarity, care, and steady guidance every step of the way.

As we look toward 2026, we’re excited — not in a loud way, but in a focused, intentional one. We’re building for the long game.
