Congratulations to our 2026 Veterans Day Essay Contest winners!

Each year, Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Idaho invites Idaho students to honor a family member who served in the U.S. Armed Forces and reflect on what that legacy of service means to them.

This year's winners are:
🏆 Grades 1–6: Jocelynn West, 6th Grade, Lewiston
🏆 Grades 7–9: Hayzlee Howell, 7th Grade, McCammon
🏆 Grades 10–12: Brooklyn De Los Reyes, 12th Grade, Pocatello

The students will be invited to share excerpts from their winning essays at the 14th Annual Farm Bureau Salute to Idaho Veterans on Friday, November 6.

Veterans, active-duty service members and their families are invited to this free event featuring Giunta’s keynote address, a traditional flag ceremony, musical tribute, complimentary luncheon, veteran slideshow, professional photo portraits, and commemorative challenge coins.
