Dunk Tank Day at The Insurance Store! 💦🎯

Twin Day at The Insurance Store was one for the books!

Some of our team went all out with their outfits, some embraced their nerdy side, others absolutely rocked their matching purple muumuu gowns, and some repped their favorite teams.

Whether they were twinning in the office or teaming up virtually, everyone brought their own personality and creativity to the day.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Marisa Granados 🌟

Meet Marisa Granados, our Customer Experience Specialist & Account Representative!

For the past 13 months, Marisa has been helping our clients with everything from policy changes to coverage updates, always making sure they feel supported every step of the way. She loves seeing a request through from start to finish and takes pride in building trust with every customer she serves.

Outside the office, Marisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Julian, their two children, Adelina and Ezekiel, and their three dogs. When she has a chance to relax, you’ll usually find her playing Zelda on her Nintendo Switch, watching the latest Marvel movie, or planning her dream trip to Scotland.

At The Insurance Store, helping people has always been at the heart of what we do, that extends beyond insurance.

This week, our team partnered with City Net Homeless Services to support individuals and families in our local community who are transitioning from homelessness into permanent housing.

We donated everyday essentials like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, soap, hand towels, cutting boards, and other household items that were assembled into welcome home baskets. Our team also took the time to write personal cards with words of encouragement for each recipient.

It’s easy to overlook the small things until you don’t have them. We hope these baskets help make a new house feel a little more like home and remind each person that their community is cheering them on.

We’re proud to support organizations like City Net that are creating lasting change right here in our community. Helping people isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are.

🚗💥 This isn’t a scene from Looney Tunes… it actually happened.

In Monterrey, Mexico, a driver reportedly crashed into a wall after mistaking a painted mural of a tunnel for a real road. The artwork was inspired by the classic Wile E. Coyote cartoons, where fake tunnels somehow fool everyone except the Road Runner. This time, reality wasn’t quite as forgiving. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported, but the vehicle wasn’t so lucky…

While this story is easy to laugh at, it highlights an important reminder:
