Good morning, SE Texas. We are in for a very wet week. First thing, we have a boundary sitting just to our north that is stalling out. Ahead of it is all kinds of tropical moisture that will set the stage for showers and t-storms today and tomorrow. Wednesday a broad area of low pressure will be moving up the coast. This is the area that the NWS National Hurricane Center is currently watching for tropical development. We may see a lull early Wednesday, but by late in the day into Thursday we could see the heaviest rainfall over the area. There is still a lot to be determined, but it several inches of rain could be possible. The NOAA NWS Weather Prediction Center indicates that 7+" of rain is possible over the next 5 days. Bottom Line: Stay weather aware and stay w/ Your Weather Authority and you'll be ahead of the storm.
