People, I am not sure who needs to hear this but people around Omaha clearly do; The left lane in residential 4 lane roads IS NOT a passing lane. We have these roads to move more traffic and funnel vehicles left and right.

Left turn coming up? Be in the left lane. Right turn coming up? You guessed it, great time to be in the right lane. Multiple times this year I have been travelling in 40-45 MPH zones in the left lane with traffic, mind you going slightly over posted limits to keep up with traffic, and I've had/seen IRATE drivers expecting me or other motorists to move to the right lane so they can get through, IN TOWN. People, please learn/understand some traffic laws.

I fully support NOT riding in the left lane on the interstate.

Remember to check your downspouts before and after hard rains to keep water travelling off your roof the way it should. It's also a GREAT idea to check them during rain to check for backups, slow spots, or areas that may be draining back toward your foundation. Grab an umbrella, and your rain boots and go check it out!!
