The Family Biz

Insurance has been a part of my life since I was 15 years old, when my mother bought me my first life insurance policy. I had no idea what it was but as a teen that just got her first job, I felt proud to have a bank account and a “bill” to pay.

It took me a while to come around to the idea of insurance becoming my career. After working in restaurants, sales, management and auto finance, I finally gave in. I was the ripe old age of 22. In early 2009, my daughter Lucy came into the world and that gave me the push I needed to take my career into my own hands. It didn’t hurt that my Mom was still in the life insurance/financial planning business and was my everyday mentor. We were the dream team!

In 2013 she stepped away from insurance and I dove in deeper. I decided I needed to learn the other side of insurance (auto, home, business...). I was taken in under the wing of a seasoned Farmers agent then went independent again once I learned the ropes.

Today I am a mother to Lucy & Nicholas, a wife to my husband Emil and a business owner representing Farmers Insurance. This is truly a family business. When school is out, you will find Lucy here at the office helping me file or taking care of her little brother. Nicholas and our dog Tucker come to work with me most of the time and we have even more family in the office directly behind us.
