⚠️ We have been informed by Berkeley County that the milling & resurfacing of a section of Amy Drive will begin Wednesday and continue through Friday this week (June 10-12).

➡️ The roadwork will take place on Amy Drive, from Stephanie Drive to the second intersection with Madeline Drive. Work will begin at 6:30am and continue until 5:30pm.

✔️ Traffic control will be stationed along the route to assist residents and drivers. The road will remain open for traffic throughout this project. We’ll share any updates as we receive them.

FUN FACT FRIDAY!
Meet Susan, Insurance Account Representative for our North Charleston office.

You may not know that Susan has 27 hens, 4 dogs, and 2 cats! Her chickens average about 16 eggs per day, which she shares with friends & family and barters with local farmers. She is in the process of training her Australian Shepherd, Rosie, to herd the chickens into their house at night.

Taking care of her animals is the way Susan likes to decompress from the workday.

The greatest threat to life and property associated with a hurricane and tropical storm is storm surge. Other effects include high winds, tornadoes, and inland flooding associated with heavy rainfall that usually accompanies these storms.
