Why insurance isn’t one-size-fits-all:

Two people can live in the same neighborhood, drive similar cars, and still need very different insurance coverage.
(Yes — even if the houses look identical.)

That’s because insurance goes beyond square footage and vehicle type. It’s about how you live, what you’d want protected if something unexpected happened, and how much risk you’re comfortable with. Two policies can look the same on paper and feel very different when it’s time to use them.

Some people want the lowest payment. Others want broader protection and fewer “wait…that’s not covered?” moments. Neither is wrong — problems usually happen when one policy is treated like it fits everyone.

That’s why I focus on conversations, not assumptions. My job is to explain options, talk through priorities and budget, and help people choose coverage they actually feel good about.

I work in both personal and commercial insurance, with a focus on home and auto coverage, and I’ve spent the last six years in the independent agency world. I started out helping run my family’s small agency in Sumter — still one of my favorite chapters, where I learned the value of relationships over transactions.
