Recently our Philadelphia teams from The Broderick and The Republic embodied the spirit of community by volunteering at the Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia Giving Factory. From sorting and quality‑checking clothing to packaging essentials for families in need, the team truly made an impact for local children experiencing clothing insecurity.

This was not the first time these team members have worked with Cradles to Crayons. Last summer they came together with other Sentinel properties in the area to collect school supplies for the organization's back-to-school programs. Their energy, teamwork, and commitment to service shine through moments like these — and we couldn’t be more proud.

This initiative is part of our broader program, which creates meaningful opportunities for our teams to support the communities where we live and work. Thank you to Cradles to Crayons for the incredible work you do, and to our Philly team for showing what community engagement looks like in action.

Sentinel Real Estate has acquired Stonehill at West Orange, an apartment community in West Orange, New Jersey, located approximately 16 miles west of Midtown Manhattan.

We recently celebrated the AFIRE 2025 Annual Member Meeting keynote dinner in New York with AFIRE After Hours at The Naked Pig, hosted by Sentinel and PGGM.

Thanks to Agata Staniszczak , Ricardo Roode, Michel Schram, Victoria Hernandez, Samantha Davis and everyone who came out! It was a lovely evening, connecting with industry friends and meeting new ones!

Sentinel recently identified a meaningful opportunity for community involvement with a collaboration of two local nonprofit organizations in Florida, Girls With Confidence and Boys with Confidence. These organizations are dedicated to the development of strong self-esteem and confidence in girls and boys in K-12th grade. Together, they sponsor a summer camp focused on building leadership skills and positive self-image.

Recognizing the need for support during their busiest season, staff members from five local Sentinel properties, Asprey at Lake Brandon Apartments, Axio at Carillon, Bonterra Parc, Egret's Landing Apartments and Versant Place Apartments, volunteered to assist with camp preparations. The volunteer day, which was part of Sentinel’s national initiative, included activities like yard work, assembling a new shed, painting furniture and fences, installing new lockers and organizing shelves and art supplies. The organizations were extremely appreciative of the support.

Recently, the Sentinel on-site team from Monterra Las Colinas Apartments in Irving, Texas spent a day volunteering with the Irving Schools Foundation’s Supplies for Success program. The volunteer day, which is part of Sentinel’s national We Connect program, was the culmination of weeks of collaborative work with the Irving Fire Department. First our team collected donations from the generous residents of Monterra, and then they worked at the Foundation coordinating those donations with those from other local organizations.

The results? The foundation received 5,000 t-shirts and two truckloads of school supplies, which were unboxed and sorted, to be distributed to underprivileged students during a school registration event later this month. The Monterra team had a great time with this project, which represented the spirit of community and generosity that is so much a part of the Sentinel experience at our properties.

We toasted the splendid AFIRE 2024 European conference in London this week with AFIRE After Hours at Dirty Martini in Covent Garden, sponsored by Sentinel and PGGM.

Sentinel Real Estate’s New York team participated in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Central Park this week! Sentinel has participated in the event for over 30 years. Congrats to Team Sentinel, Captain Mandalena Zagreda and Alex Delalla for our team's fastest time! We welcome our first-timers – Evelyn Quinones, Kevin Murphy, David Rodriguez and Meghan Murphy – and thanks to everyone who came out to support a great cause!

Over 250,000 people, from over 7500 companies, participate globally in the Corporate Challenge each year, celebrating global diversity, inclusion, fitness, friendly competition and fun. In New York, the Corporate Challenge benefits the Central Park Conservancy and its mission of restoring, managing and enhancing Central Park.

Sentinel is proud to share the recent completion of capital upgrades at ABQ Uptown Apartments, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sentinel Managing Director, George Tietjen, shares “we felt it important to incorporate as much of the southwestern and New Mexican theme in our renovation of the community.”

Sentinel was honoured to again sponsor the FondsForum in Königstein, Germany on March 7th and 8th. The Conference included 120 participants from the institutional real estate industry. Sentinel's Managing Director Nick Stein spoke on the topic of transition risk and ESG using the overview of the US and how it varies by regions. He was part of the ESG & Overall Investor Sentiment panel moderated by Bas van den IJssel, Almazara along with co-panelists, Corinna Haas from Helaba Invest and Ryu Konishi of LaSalle Investment Management.

"It was great to participate in a substantive dialogue on the important topic of transition risk and to hear from speakers across two continents sharing insights," Mr. Stein said. Max Berkelder, Managing Director at Sentinel Real Estate Netherlands, also attended.

Sentinel has received planning approval for a 240-apartment rental community and mixed-use offering in Adelaide’s inner-north, which will be the first institutional Build to Rent development in Southern Australia.

The approved development, to be located on the prime corner of Third and Gibson streets in Renewal SA’s Bowden precinct, will be comprised of 12-stories and a mezzanine. Purpose-built for renters, it will offer studio, one-, two- and three- bedroom apartments with a range of layouts, in a premium and sustainable building.

The community will be an addition to Sentinel’s growing Kinleaf property management platform, which offers residents professional management, leasing and maintenance staff located on-site to assist throughout their rental experience. In keeping with our other Kinleaf developments, The Elements by Kinleaf and The Briscoe by Kinleaf, the Bowden property will be pet-friendly and have a curated range of resident amenities on offer including a swimming pool, fitness center, resident lounge, barbeque facilities and two open green terraces on the podium level.

As South Australia’s Minister for Housing and Urban Development Nick Champion observed, “The-build-to-rent asset class is a game changing for South Australia because it challenges the established tenant/landlord relationship giving power back to tenants – critical when rental vacancies at below 1 per cent.” He went on to note, “Bowden precinct is becoming an increasingly diverse and vibrant provider of housing options for South Australians looking for alternative and flexible housing options.”

Sentinel recently hosted AFIRE After Hours, during the Miami AFIRE conference. Real estate leaders and institutional investors from around the world came together at the conference to connect and discuss the current state of capital markets, as well as future opportunities in the US. The AFIRE After Hours event afforded them the opportunity to continue discussions from the day of excellent speakers and topics, accompanied by terrific food and drink at AlmaRosa.
