🚨 CONFORMING LOAN LIMITS ARE GOING UP!
And that could mean more buying power for homebuyers. 🏡
UWM is already honoring an estimated 2027 conforming loan limit of $847,440 for a one-unit property — up from the 2026 limit of $832,750.
That’s an additional $14,690 in conventional borrowing power before crossing into high balance/jumbo territory.
Why does this matter?
✅ Higher purchase price potential
✅ More buyers can stay within conventional financing
✅ Potentially avoid high balance/jumbo loan requirements
✅ More flexibility with cash to close
✅ Greater purchasing power in today’s housing market
Example:
A buyer who needs a $840,000 loan could previously have been pushed into high balance financing. With the higher conforming limit, that same loan amount can potentially remain within conventional financing.
If you’re thinking about buying a home in 2027, don’t assume you need a high balance or jumbo loan until we run the numbers.
