Tawon Piggee was resentenced today to 32 to 60 years years in prison, plus a consecutive 2 year felony-firearm sentence. He’s been incarcerated since October 11th 1998.

Piggee was originally serving a natural life sentence, but returned to court after changes in Michigan law affecting offenders who were under 21 years old at the time of their crimes made that sentence no longer legal.

Kind, caring, dedicated and willing to go above and beyond.
