The community has spoken! Congratulations to Eric Farley, our Bastrop Branch Manager, for earning First Place Bank Employee in the Best of Bastrop County Awards.

While Eric is new to VeraBank, he is certainly not new to Bastrop! We're proud of the impact he's already making around here and look forward to seeing him continue to serve the community who knows him well.

Some of the best financial lessons start with a simple question. What does a cup of coffee have to do with financial lessons? Quite a bit, actually.

At the HEAL Youth Summit, our team connected with more than 1,500 students to discuss budgeting, spending habits, and building financial confidence. Through real-world examples, we explored how everyday spending decisions can shape healthy financial habits.

Thank you to HEAL Alliance for creating opportunities like this, and a shoutout to the students who brought thoughtful questions and a genuine interest in learning about their financial future.

Some of the most valuable money lessons happen long before adulthood, like understanding how credit works, why saving early matters, how to build a budget, and learning the difference between wants and needs.

The earlier those conversations start, the more confidence kids can have moving into their future. Explore tips and activities to help your kids learn important financial skills. Good habits often start with simple conversations.
