Are mortgage Rates starting to Fall???
Rates have steadily risen since the beginning of August and have seemed to hit a top and are hopefully starting to decline again. The market is a challenge for sellers BUT can be a huge opportunity for buyers. I recently had a client buy a home that was listed for 559k a few months ago and they got it for 432k with all closing costs paid!!! WOW!! Now is the time to ACT if you want to find a great deal on your home! Whether you are a first time buyer or an investor, this the best buyers market I have seen since 2011!
The chart below is the 10 year treasury bond, which recently hit levels not seen since 2003. It appears to have made a top and is beginning to trend lower. Lets hope that continues!
