It's Fire Prevention Week (October 4-10). This year's NFPA theme, "Charge into Fire Safety," is a reminder that fire prevention happens before the fire ever starts.

That's especially true on the road. Most semi-truck fires begin with something a pre-trip inspection can catch: overheated brakes, leaking fuel, frayed wiring.
